Booking Policy


1. General Terms
– The online ticket booking system is available for booking tickets to events, shows, or any other activities organized by Kokrajhar Planetarium
– All users are required to create an account or provide basic details, including name, email, and phone number, during the booking process.
– The ticket booking service is subject to the availability of seats and the scheduled timing of the events.
 
2. Payment Policy
– All ticket purchases made through the online booking system must be paid via the available payment methods (e.g., credit card, debit card, online banking, UPI).
– The total ticket price includes applicable taxes and service charges, which will be clearly stated at the time of booking.
– Payments are processed through secure payment gateways, and Kokrajhar Planetarium does not store any payment-related information, such as card details.
 
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
– Tickets once purchased are **non-refundable** unless the show is cancelled by Kokrajhar Planetarium
– In case of show cancellation, the full ticket price will be refunded to the original payment method within 3-4 business days.
– Users may request a ticket modification (date or time change) at least [6 hours/days] before the show, subject to availability and approval by Kokrajhar Planetarium
 
4. Ticket Validity
– E-tickets are valid only for the event and time slot specified during the booking process. Users are required to show the confirmation email or SMS with the booking reference code upon entry.
– Each e-ticket is unique and can only be used once. Entry will be denied if the e-ticket has already been redeemed.
 
5. Rescheduling or Event Changes
– Kokrajhar Planetarium reserves the right to reschedule or make changes to the show schedule. Users will be notified via email or SMS in case of any such changes.
– If a user is unable to attend the rescheduled event, they may request a refund within 7 days of receiving the notification.
 
6. User Responsibility
– It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that the information provided during the booking process is accurate and complete. Any discrepancies in user-provided details may result in denied entry or ticket cancellation.
– Users should arrive at the planetarium at least 30 minutes before the show starts. Late arrivals may not be allowed to enter once the show has started.
 
7. Privacy and Data Protection
– Kokrajhar Planetarium respects your privacy and will protect any personal information provided during the booking process in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Personal data will be used solely for the purpose of processing your booking, sending confirmation, and event updates.

7.1. A booking is considered confirmed only after successful payment and receipt of a booking confirmation.
7.2. User  must carry either a printed copy or display the e-ticket on their mobile device along with a valid photo ID at the time of boarding.
